After spending several hours trying to find immediate help, and being told by doctor after doctor that there was no availability for weeks, we found Dr. Wambugu through zocdoc. He had open appointments the same day, in the evening, on a Friday night, on a holiday weekend. He and his office were extremely communicative and responsive and we were able to get prescriptions filled immediately. This was an oasis in a mental health system hellscape.

Really love this doctor! Dr. Wambugu takes my concerns seriously and spends quality time with you, especially in intake. He develops an action plan quickly and guides you through medication changes. I appreciate seeing doctors of color in this field as a Latina woman. There are certain things culturally that are easier to explain and have understood in regards to mental health that Dr. Wambugu is a breath of fresh air! Great candor and great listener.
