Paul J. Cagle, MD, FAAOS is an Internationally Recognized Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. He specialized in Sports Medicine, Shoulder Surgery and Elbow Surgery as an Assistant Professor and Associate Program Director at the prestigious Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Cagle is a top rated surgeon recognized as a Super Doctor, New York Top Doctor and as an New York State Trooper/Police Surgeon. He has been quoted in the New York Post, the New York Daily News and Newsday.
Dr. Cagle has published over 30 peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters and has presented both Nationally and Internationally at scientific conferences. He holds pending patent rights for medical device developments and continues to be at the forefront of medical education. During his collegiate years, Dr. Cagle was a two time Academic All-America Scholar Athlete in the sport of Football.
His education includes medical school in his home town of Chicago at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine as well as at world renowned surgical fellowships in New York City and Lyon, France. During his education, he was a recipient of the Arnold P. Gold Humanism and Excellence Award. The doctor was in and out; 2 mins tops. He did just a couple of movements and I was diagnosed. No x-rays, nothing to confirm it. Wasn’t interested in much I had to say. Didn’t ask many questions. Sent me on my way with a pt referral. Absolute waste of time. Spent more time traveling there and waiting (which was no more than 10mins) to see the doctor. If you’re looking for actual help, maybe another provider at this practice (which was clean & the staff at the front desk were friendly) would be better.

I showed up at 8:20 and checked in for an 8:45 appointment. Around 9am, someone else showed up who had an 8:30 appointment and they let her in ahead of me. When I asked about this they were dismissive and said it was their policy to go by appointment time even if they are late. I saw the previous patient exit but given how dismissive they were I waited patiently. After another hour I went and asked what was going on and they said I should have been seen earlier. When I told that peron I had inquired earlier they said "nobody asked me!" as though it was my job to ask everyone there. The entire time there were people in the waiting room playing loud videos from their phones or having vulgar conversations out loud.
Good doctor. Terrible office. Avoid this building if at all possible.
