Getting to know Paul Garraty

Blossom Psychiatric Services is a family-operated business offering compassionate, patient-centered therapeutic care and understanding, along with responsible psychiatric medication management. We welcome clients interested in an initial 90-minute in-person psychiatric evaluation, followed by 30-minute tele-psych follow-ups thereafter. The provider will NOT prescribe IR stimulants or support chronic benzodiazepine overuse.
Our provider holds a Master's in Family Nursing from Grambling State University and a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, ensuring expert and empathetic care tailored to each individual's needs.
What should a new client know about working with you?
We will send you numerous pre-screening forms to fill out so the provider can evaluate the results prior to your visit. That way we can spend 90 minutes discussing the results of your tests, recommend medication management options, and formulate a comprehensive plan to improved your mental health.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Come BLOSSOM with us! We offer diagnosis, medication management and individual therapy, including CBT and ACT, for all major psychiatric disorders including Anxiety, depression, bipolar dx., schizophrenia and (ADHD) Attention deficient dx.

Paul is the best psychiatric NP I have ever met! He is professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and down to earth. He feels like more than just a medical provider.
He is always responsive to my concerns, responds quickly to portal inquiries and phone calls and has fought for me to receive a more expensive medication with fewer side effects.
In addition, Paul was previously a medical NP, which gives him a broader background from which to offer advice and care.
So glad Paul was referred to me. I would highly, highly recommend him!
