Getting to know Paul Gatdula

I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and Mood Disorders. I provide personalized, evidence-based care in a warm and collaborative space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as we work toward meaningful, lasting change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded. I won’t rush through appointments or reduce your experience to a checklist. I ask meaningful questions, listen carefully, and help you make sense of what’s happening — so we can build a plan that actually fits your life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical first visit is comprehensive and conversational. We’ll review your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, lifestyle factors, and past treatment experiences. My goal is to understand the full picture — not just symptoms — so we can arrive at a thoughtful, accurate diagnosis and build a plan that fits you. Follow-up visits focus on tracking progress, adjusting medications when needed, and addressing new or ongoing stressors.

I am in-network with several major insurance plans. Coverage and benefits vary by plan, so I encourage patients to verify their mental health benefits, copay, deductible, and any authorization requirements prior to their first visit. My office can also help confirm eligibility when needed. Copays, coinsurance, and any self-pay balances are collected at the time of service. If cost is a concern, please let me know. I’m happy to discuss options and ensure you have a clear understanding of fees before beginning care so there are no surprises.
