A Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Miami's Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, Dr. Jellinger received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his fellowship in endocrinology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He has served on numerous national task forces shaping clinical guidelines for the management of diabetes, dyslipidemia, thyroid disease, and PCOS, and has authored more than 40 publications in the field. In 2017, Dr. Jellinger received the Yank D. Coble, Jr., MD, Distinguished Service Award from the American College of Endocrinology. He is repeatedly recognized among the Best Doctors in America and is an attending physician at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, where he served as the first Chief of the Section of Endocrinology.
