I entered nursing in 2005 after graduating with my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Mexico. Early on it became clear that I most enjoyed working with children and families. This led me to the NICU and pediatric specialty care units of UNM Children’s Hospital, while concurrently earning my Master of Science degree in nursing administration. A desire to expand my knowledge and scope of practice directed me to Arizona State University, earning a second Master of Science degree as an advanced practice neonatal nurse practitioner, alongside gaining valuable clinical experience in the NICU and PICU at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Relocating to Dallas in 2010, I dedicated myself to the care of premature and medically fragile babies at Baylor University Medical Center and its affiliated hospitals. Driven by a strong desire to follow these children beyond the NICU, I further enriched my skillset with post-graduate advanced practice certifications in primary and acute care pediatrics at The University of Texas. My clinical training at Children’s Medical Centers of Dallas and Plano honed my expertise in both primary care and the special needs of children born prematurely, affected by complications at birth, illness, or developmental delays. For several years, I balanced commitments in the hospital and at a busy pediatric clinic for primary and complex care, gaining valuable experience to complement my advanced education. Now in Washington, my forever home chosen for its people and natural beauty, I bring my advanced education, clinical training, and experience as a triple board-certified ARNP in neonatal, primary, and acute care pediatrics to establish Concierge Pediatrics
