“Dr. Krebs has been phenomonel in every aspect of the care he has given. Ive had experience with other therapist/psychologists and I can say that his approach has been above and beyond what Ive experienced with other providers. He is flexible when it comes to scheduling and is very understanding when life happens. He has helped introduce tools into my life that have allowed me to take my life back in the most meaningful of ways. His consistency and approach is so personable and he has a way of communicating through tough topics that allow me to digest them in healthy and managable ways. I highly recommend Dr. Krebs to anyone who is in need of the services he provides. His skillset is diverse in nature and is great for a myriad of different needs that people seek in a therapist/psychologist.”

Getting to know Dr. Paul Krebs

My goal is to provide high-quality, specialized psychotherapy services to help you achieve lasting wellness. I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and completed a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. I have specific training and certification in treatments for anxiety (including work-related stress, burnout, work transitions), depression, trauma/PTSD, and insomnia. In particular, I specialize in working with executives and professionals, focusing on building skills to optimize functioning. Whether you are new to therapy or looking to make more progress than non-specific approaches can provide, I am available to discuss therapy options that can meet your needs.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I value creating a friendly, collaborative environment that builds on your strengths. Our sessions will focus on identifying goals for symptom reduction and will take an active approach to developing new skills that build on research regarding how to create effective, lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first sessions we will discuss your specific needs and develop a research-based plan to help you achieve progress. Presently, I am conducting sessions via a secure video.

I have been working with Dr. Krebs for over two years. He has truly helped me navigate through difficult times and those less stressful. His demeanor is professional but not intimidating. He listens, asks clear questions and offers thoughtful suggestions and strategies.
Dr. Krebs is always approachable, kind, and is a great listener. I always look forward to our sessions. He takes my concerns and problems seriously and works with me to figure out ways to cope with many of the challenges I face. I appreciate that he is there to help guide me during our sessions, and how he leads me to find connections and make conclusions on my own. I find this method to be really powerful and impactful for me — I leave our sessions feeling energized and optimistic. I’ve learned a lot about myself since starting my sessions with Dr. Krebs. He has been great!
Dr. Krebs has been an incredible resource for me these last 6 months. The initial reason for our engagement was pretty specific but the sessions turned into more generalized discussions that focused on areas of my life that he identified had in impact on the original issue. He's very thoughtful, kind, and logical in his approach, which is exactly what I needed. The other great thing about Dr. Krebs is that he's very pragmatic and results oriented. He's an active listener and has the ability top pick up on the subtle thought-tracks and beliefs that are driving problems, and work through a plan to combat those. I couldn't recommend Paul enough and am grateful for our sessions.
Dr Krebs and I saw each other remotely. I at first had low expectations for this medium of psychotherapy, but it turned out to be just as valuable as in-person sessions have been in the past. Dr Krebs is a prompt, reliable, and imaginative therapist with sympathy and humor. I looked forward to our sessions and can recommend him wholeheartdly.
Dr. Krebs is an outstanding therapist. He listens intently and offers invaluable, practical tools for self development. I'd highly recommend him to anyone seeking counseling from a trustworthy, kind and knowledgeable professional.
I have been suffering for many years with PTSD from 9/11. I thought the only option was medication so it was left untreated and I just lived with it best I could until a friend reccomended Dr.Krebs. He changed my life. Using several different techniques he came up with a plan for me and it worked. I am able to do things that I was unable to do for years. The best part is that unlike traditional talk therapy it was done in a time frame of a few months. My family can't believe the change in me after all these years. I'm traveling freely now which was very hard for me among many other things. I could go on and on. His methods really worked for me. Forever Grateful.
Dr. Krebs pleasant, easy going manner was so refreshing. The tele health visit was so easy to figure out even when my computer decided not to cooperate. Dr Krebs figured it all out making the whole visit great!
