What should a new client know about working with you?

My practice is grounded in respect, dignity, and an unwavering belief in each persons capacity for healing. I view recovery as a non-linear, individualized journey and work collaboratively with patients to define what wellness means for them—whether that's abstinence, harm reduction, or stabilization. People are more than their diagnoses or past choices and my role is to meet people where they are, help them uncover their strengths, and provide the tools and support to move forward at their own pace. I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of treatment-resistant depression, substance use disorders, trauma-related disorders, anxiety, mood and psychotic disorders. I bring a comprehensive, trauma-informed approach to care, integrating medication and support supports to treat the whole person—not just the symptoms. Recovery is possible—and it looks different for everyone. My goal is to partner with patients to rediscover their agency and build a life that feels worth living.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I often start with therapy and/or medication. If those don't help enough, options like ketamine, Spravato, or TMS may provide faster relief. Treatment for substance use may include counseling, support groups, and sometimes medication to reduce cravings/prevent relapse. When it comes to SI, safety comes first. Alongside a safety plan, I use proven treatments to quickly and effectively reduce SI.
