About Paula Charbonnet
Paula Charbonnet-Killiam has been a practicing dermatology Nurse Practitioner for 2 years. She spent 10 years as a Registered Nurse providing bedside care in Adult/Trauma/Surgery before transitioning to Pediatric/Pediatric ICU/Pediatric Cardiac ICU. Paula specializes in the prevention, detection, and treatment of pre-cancerous and cancerous growths, inflammation, scaling, infections, and other skin conditions.
Paula earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nicholls State University, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from George Washington University. While at George Washington University, she was honored to be a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society as well as the Golden Key International Honor Society. Raised in south Louisiana, Paula was very active in sports, playing soccer, tennis, track, volleyball, and swimming. She is and always has been a die-hard LSU and Saints football fan. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, visiting family, traveling, staying active, and reading.

Rushed through my appointment. Didn’t bother to do a full skin check and then I was charged a high bill for the “complexity” of the review for informing me I have a dry scalp and acne.

She was amazing. I normally have a harder time trusting dermatologists because I am black and our skin is underrepresented in the derm field, but Paula was VERY knowledgeable!

The office was very convenient and offered free parking. I was seen almost immediately. Winter was a great nurse. Paula was thorough and efficient and allowed me to ask any questions I had. Overall, it was a great experience with a new provider. I booked my appointment for next year with Paula.
