I had anlmost no wait time and everyone was very professional and kind. Dr Malhorta is clearly an expert and her bedside manner is superb. She listened and treated me expertly. She even wrote me a note summarizing the information so I wouldn’t forget. Easily one of the best DR experiences I have ever had (and I have had a lot!) It was very refreshing to feel like someone cared and understood and wanted to make sure I understood the regimen and diagnosis. I would recommend her to everyone! ”

Paula S. Malhotra, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in comprehensive medical and cosmetic skin care. Dr. Malhotra is a kind and compassionate team member at SKN Institute, serving the western suburbs of Chicago, conveniently located in Elmhurst, Illinois.
She obtained her undergraduate degree from Saint Louis University. She went back home to Kentucky, where she is originally from, for both her medical degree as well as her Dermatology residency at the University of Louisville. She has lived in the Chicagoland area since graduating from residency and spent over 10 years working at Northwestern Medicine in downtown Chicago.
Now a native of the western suburbs, Dr. Malhotra is proud to bring her experience and expertise to her new neighborhood. Dr. Malhotra’s lifelong professional goal was to be able to join a practice that centers on wellness of skin from inside out. At SKN Institute we will finally be able to integrate a holistic approach to skin care and anti-aging. When Dr. Malhotra is not at work she loves to travel, work out, play tennis and read. She also loves to spend time with her two young boys and her husband, her third child!

Dr. Malhotra is absolutely the best! She truly takes her time with each patient, listens carefully, and gives you her full attention. Every question I had was answered thoroughly, and I never felt rushed. Her warm and professional approach makes every visit a great experience. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Malhotra. I went for a consultation for my acre of the doctor was so knowledgeable & attentive to my needs. She suggested a treatment plan tailored to me & I'm super happy with my progress. This clinic also looks fabulous and it's a very aesthetic space. Highly recommend this place!

I saw Dr. Malhotra last week for cosmetic and medical consults. As a person, she is so personable, warm and friendly, but also thorough, patient and knowledgeable as a medical practitioner. I'm so happy I found her! The office team has also been great so far. I am excited to start my treatments and am confident those will be 5-star experiences as well!

Dr. Malhotra and the staff at SKN Institute are second to none! They are absolutely incredible, maintain wonderful bedside manner, and are extremely educated and thorough. It is super important to have both an educated medical professional with tons of experience, along with a personality that enables trust and confidence. You will find it all at this practice. You will come, leave with a smile and pleasant experience consistently and receive a concierge approach to your needs. 5 stars — highly recommend!

The practice is wonderful exactly what I was looking for. Dr. Malhotra treats my teenage daughter for medical dermatology, and I get to treat myself to some bonus cosmetic dermatology. The entire staff is Kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. I feel will take care of.... Thank You!!

I recently saw Dr. Malhotra and had a wonderful and wonderful experience. She was incredibly patient and took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted, what I felt comfortable with, and what I was afraid of. She was patient and gave suggestions for a subtle enhancement.

Dr. Malhotra was the best! I went in for lip filler and she explained everything so well. Walked in nervous but left her office super confident and feeling better in my own skin! 100% would recommend her to all the girls and her staff is super sweet. The girls there make you feel so comfortable.
