Dr. Parsons furthered her clinical knowledge when she returned to school to and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 2011 and a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016. After working for several years in the travel nursing industry and providing care in several women’s and men’s prisons, Dr. Parsons returned to college and earned her psych-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and doctorate in nursing practice degree (DNP) in a dual enrollment program at the University of North Florida in 2021. She has experience in several specialties including medical-surgical, surgery step-down, bariatric surgery, critical care, cardiology, orthopedic medicine, hospital-based leadership/management and hematology-and-oncology and psych-mental health. She is board certified by ANCC and AANP and has a total of 15 years in healthcare practice. She manages chronic medical problems such as hypertension, diabetes, COPD, and asthma. She is committed to providing exceptional mental health services to the clients at Elite Body and Mind Solutions. In addition, she provides preventative and annual wellness and routine services, smoking cessation and weight loss counseling.
