Payton Magnin, PA-C

Physician Assistant (Psychiatry)
333 N Michigan Ave, Ste 1400, Chicago, IL
Creating a space where patients feel heard, supported, and respected is central to how I approach my practice. I value the connection between mental and physical health and help patients build the tools and confidence they need to navigate life’s challenges. I earned my Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and am a board-certified Physician Assistant. During my training, I completed clinical rotations across a variety of specialties, which helped me build a strong medical foundation and reinforced my interest in providing holistic, multidisciplinary care within my community. These experiences shaped my ability to meet patients where they are with compassion, curiosity, and respect. I have a clinical interest in treating anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in both adolescents and adults. Having personally experienced the mental health care system, I bring an added level of understanding to my work. I am passionate about creating a supportive space for patients who may be seeking care for the first time, as well as those looking for a fresh, collaborative approach to their mental health. I provide thoughtful, individualized care using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), supportive therapy, and medication management. I prioritize building strong, trusting relationships and work closely with patients to develop treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and daily lives.
