About Payton Seagroves
My interest in medicine began while studying anatomy and physiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where a passion for understanding the human body took root. As the first person in my family to enter the medical field, becoming a physician assistant was especially meaningful. Choosing family medicine felt like a natural fit. This role offers the variety of caring for patients through all stages of life while building lasting relationships within the community.
My focus areas include preventive care, chronic disease management and women's health. Practicing at Novant Health Lakeside Family Physicians - Rosedale since 2019, I've had the privilege of serving and caring for the local community where I was raised.
At Novant Health, we believe healthcare works best when patients feel heard, respected and involved in their care. My approach is centered on building trusting relationships and providing compassionate, patient-focused care tailored to individual needs and goals.
Creating a comfortable environment where patients can openly discuss their concerns and feel supported in making informed decisions about their health is something I'm deeply committed to. Working closely with patients to promote long-term wellness and improve quality of life is at the core of everything I do.
