I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over thirteen years of experience in healthcare, providing holistic, compassionate mental and medical care to diverse patient populations. I have worked with various psychiatric hospitals around the Houston area, delivering care to underserved populations facing mental health challenges.
I graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, earned a Master's in Nursing, and completed a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama.
I have worked at and continue to provide services at multiple hospitals around Houston, caring for adolescents, adults, and older adults with psychiatric, cognitive, and substance use disorders.
I am skilled in providing culturally sensitive care, with a strong focus on using a holistic approach to address patients' religious and traditional needs. The comprehensive well-being and overall improvement in quality of life for my patients is my primary objective. Other areas of focus include preventing self-harm, medication management, and helping patients achieve mood stability, as well as addressing personality and other behavioral issues.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
