About Dr. Peterson Pierre
A highly respected authority in medical as well as cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Peterson Pierre is recognized for attending to patients’ overall health, not just beauty. Certified by the American Board of Dermatology, he received his medical degree and completed specialty training in dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Through his Pierre Skin Care Institute, Dr. Pierre offers a wide variety of procedures, including both ablative and non-ablative laser techniques to treat sun damage and wrinkles. Cosmetically, a unique rejuvenating program is designed for each patient to create beautiful, natural outcomes. These are customized treatments for results that are subtle, never overdone.
Known by his patients as the “gentle injector,” Dr. Pierre is talented in the use of BOTOX® and fillers, with an impeccable reputation for exceeding patients’ expectations. Dr. Pierre didn’t really listen to my concerns and stayed focused on treating acne, even though it wasn’t the reason for my visit. Even after I showed him photos of my symptoms - later diagnosed by another doctor as perioral dermatitis—he prescribed oral antibiotics and retinoids, which is appropriate for acne, but highly irritating for PD!!! I felt dismissed and not taken seriously. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor if you want to be diagnosed; if you’re okay with a 2 minute visit, long-term antibiotics, and having the doctor decide what your problem is without listening, this might work for you

I was pleasantly greeted by the front office staff. I was taken back right on time and the provider came in immediately following the medical assistant’s work up. Dr. Pierre diagnosed and treated me immediately and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes .

The doctor spent very little time with me, less than 5 minutes. It was my first appointment, and I was having a major eczema flare-up all over my body. He did not even do an exam or ask me any questions. He just took one look at my neck, where some patches were, recommended a prescription, and had me buy lotion from him, which contained fragrance. I don't know why anyone would recommend a lotion for someone suffering from skin irritation that has fragrance in it. I was trying to ask him questions and discuss possible causes, and he left the exam room. I was still trying to talk to him as he walked away from me and down the hallway. My problems got worse after seeing this doctor.

I went to see him to remove a splinter that was deep into my index finger. He did not wash his hands. He did not wear gloves he did not cleanse my finger before or after removal of the splinter.
