About Dr. Petra Kelsey
I love that my job involves helping people get answers and feel better. My approach is whole-bodied, integrative, and evidence-based. I especially enjoy collaborating with patients who want to pursue natural healing approaches and consider less-invasive treatment methods when possible. I also provide infant, child, and adolescent care; sports medicine; LGBTQ+ care; and sexual and reproductive health. Performing a comfortable IUD insertion is one of my passions!
I'm originally born and raised in Austin and have spent time practicing in West Texas, Wisconsin, and rural New Zealand. Having worked in a variety of medical practices, I'm truly excited to work at One Medical, which I believe provides one of the best patient experiences in Austin.
To stay healthy and happy, I enjoy baking banana bread, building forts with my daughter, reminiscing about old Austin, volunteering, and anything that involves moving around.
I received my education from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed my residency at the University of Wisconsin Family Medicine Residency Program.
