Peyton Helgeson-Cuitino, RDN

Peyton Helgeson-Cuitino, RDN

Dietitian
MI
Peyton has had a unique journey to becoming an RDN. After graduating from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor's in Culinary Nutrition, she went on to work for a weight loss clinic, where she quickly realized that going back to school to become a Dietitian was her true calling. Upon returning to school to obtain her Certificate in Dietetics from Dominican University, she worked as a dietary assistant at an eating disorder clinic in Chicago, IL. There, she supported adults and adolescents suffering from Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia, Diabulimia, Dumping Syndrome, Anorexia Nervosa, ARFID, and Disordered Eating. As her certificate program was finishing, she taught cooking classes through an after-school program across Chicagoland schools for children from PreK through 5th grade. This experience inspired her to apply to a dietetic internship focused on school nutrition, which helped her land her first job as a school district Dietitian in Wisconsin. After some time, she realized she missed the one-on-one patient experience, leading her to her current full-time position as an Inpatient Clinical Dietitian. Still craving more direct patient care, Peyton applied to Berry Street to take on patients in a more intimate, outpatient role. She is thrilled to have that one-on-one time with patients to help create, personalize, and achieve patient-focused nutrition goals!
