I can help whether you are suffering from codependence, anxiety, schizophrenia, OCD, bipolar disorder, depression, ADHD, or self-confidence issues. My goal is to always build trusting relationships with my clients, providing an environment that is comforting and safe. I have helped many clients become the best version of themselves again. Treatment is always individualized to your specific needs, with a holistic approach. Together, we can work to come up with a plan that works best for you.
I am a graduate of Walden University with a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. I am accepting clients from childhood to adulthood with needs such as depression, anxiety disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, ODD, anger, psychotic disorders, bipolar disorders, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and individual therapy.

She was super nice but told me I was lying about being prescribe a medication while I was holding my previous prescription bottle in my hand. She said her “database” didn’t show I was ever prescribe this medication… I was literally holding my old prescription bottle- w name, dosage, medication, prescriber, pharmacy filled, etc (that I had been taking for 2+ years). Extremely offensive and totally confusing. I was just gaslit by a psychiatrist.

i poured my heart out to her. she understood but all she did was say iop iop iop. over and over. ive done that before. i know my body. the prozac and xanax helps me day to day from being a recluse, cant sleep, anxiety all the time. thats not enough but if i was nervous on a plane probably have to dodge them being thrown at me. she didnt understand me.

Dr. Phenita is honestly the best psychiatrist i’ve ever had. She doesn't push meds unnecessarily, she wants to know you and support you but also help you get better. And I honestly love her for that!
