About Dr. Phillip Coleman

Co-owner of Bay Area Wellness Center, Dr. Phil has been practicing as a chiropractic physician for 20 + years. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University's Atlanta campus in 2003, with an emphasis on sports and nutrition. Before relocating to Florida to be closer to family, he and his wife owned and operated Coleman Family Chiropractic in Tennessee for over 11 years. His background also includes more than a decade as a Personal Trainer and fitness director at the YMCA and Gold's Gym. Additionally, Dr. Phil was a spokesmodel and fitness model for Muscle Mania, Fitness America, and various supplement companies. He is a national champion natural bodybuilder with multiple titles, and he and his wife have been featured in several fitness magazines. Prior to his chiropractic career, Dr. Phil studied robotics and automation technology and worked in robotics and personal computers. He enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1990 and served five years in an infantry unit. Originally from Indiana, he participated in football and wrestling and later coached the Pike Central middle school wrestling team. Dr. Phil has been married for over 30 wonderful years, and he and his wife enjoy traveling and many recreational activities together. His specialties include posture correction, computer ergonomics, extremity adjusting, exercise consultations, and peak performance sports treatments.

Dr Coleman is amazing. He always gets me I'm fast and takes great care of my back andneck. I ride a motorcycle as my daily and he understands my needs and keeps me rolling. Definately recommend 11/10

I’ve been seeing Dr. Phil for about 3 months now and I feel great! He’s definitely not your average chiropractor and has even helped me improve my performance in the gym. I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of seeing a chiropractor. 10/10 stars
