About Dr. Phillip Coleman

Co-owner of Bay Area wellness Center. Dr. Phil has been practicing for 20 years as a chiropractic physician. He attended Life University Atlanta campus in the Doctor of Chiropractic program with emphasis on sports and nutrition, and graduated in 2003. He owned and operated Coleman Family Chiropractic in TN with his wife for over 11 years before selling the business to move to Florida to be closer to family. His prior work history has included being a Personal Trainer and fitness director for the YMCA and Gold’s Gym for over 10 years. He was also a spokesmodel and fitness model for Muscle Mania, Fitness America, and multiple supplement companies, as well as being a national champion natural bodybuilder with multiple titles. He and his wife were featured in several fitness magazines. Dr. Phil studied robotics and automation technology and worked in robotics and personal computers prior to his Chiropractic studies. He was enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1990 and served in an infantry unit for 5 years. He is originally from Indiana and participated in football and wrestling and became a coach for Pike Central middle school wrestling team. He has been married for over 30 wonderful years and they enjoy traveling together as well as many other recreational activities. Dr. Phil specializes in posture correction, computer ergonomics, extremity adjusting, exercise consultations, and peak performance sports treatments.
