I've had a total of 3 visits with Dr Prakash and I still don't know what is wrong with me. She has not diagnosed me and she has not returned my phone calls. The front desk staff says they gave her my message repeatedly and still nothing. The 1st visit, I explained my issues and she told me to try the FODMAPS diet and probiotics and scheduled me for a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. The 2nd visit was the procedure. The 3rd visit was the follow up and she gave me no useful information and I am still having the same issues PLUS migraines now. I just want to feel better and she has been no help at all. Just a waste of time and money. A monumental disappointment considering how much luck I've had with ZocDoc. I don't think it is too much to ask for a call back and a conversation about what my GI issues might be.
She's is wonderful. Gave me a plan of action and scheduled me quickly for tests. Blood work can be done right in the office which is a huge plus.
The doctor was very patient and attentive to us. She answered all our questions and addressed our concerns. She is someone I would highly recommend to others.
Dr. Prakash was great! This was my first time visiting a GI doctor. I've had some issues for a while now but it's such a sensitive subject - I've been too embarrassed to talk to a doctor about it. I finally decided to see a doctor and chose Dr. Prakash based on her great reviews. And I'm SO glad I did. She was very easy to talk to and seemed genuinely concerned about my issues. She set up tests right away to help me figure out what's wrong and offered suggestions to help in the meantime. I've had other doctors who have just brushed off my concerns to get me out of their office. The staff at the front desk, as well as the technician who did my blood work were also very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend Dr. Prakash and The Gastro Center of Maryland.
She was very detailed and extremely nice.
