I’ve never experienced a time where I booked an appointment through zoodoc and a facility was unaware of my appointment. I received a confirmation email confirming my appointment. I came to piedmont urgent care only to be told that they had no idea that I was scheduled for an appointment. After that, I was told that they did not accept my insurance. It was such a huge disappointment, disservice and a headache all together. On top of all of this, the person at the front is asking me (in front of other guests) what I am here for. I will never forget this experience.

I arrived for my scheduled appointment and was immediately met with an extremely rude front desk employee who claimed she could not find my appointment in the system. I showed her the confirmation email on my phone proving the appointment was scheduled, yet instead of trying to help or resolve the issue, she dismissively told me there was “nothing they could do” and instructed me to drive to another Piedmont location because “they didn’t have that many people waiting.”
After already being in severe pain and barely able to drive, I made the trip to the other location only to find over 10 people ahead of me. The entire experience was unprofessional, insensitive, and a complete waste of time. There was absolutely no concern shown for patients or their condition. I would never recommend this urgent care to anyone.

My experience with this facility was great. I was able to make an appointment and was seen fairly quickly. They were very thorough, testing me for several issues before I saw the doctor/nurse. I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and given antibiotics which have drastically improved my situation. Having been a patient happily affiliated with Piedmont for most of my adult life, I appreciate the convenience and professionalism of this experience!
