“Scheduling my appointment through Zocdoc was very convenient compared to doing a walk-in, even though the VA recommended the visit. I was seen in a timely manner, and completing the intake paperwork through the app was quick and easy.
The doctor was friendly, attentive, and asked thoughtful questions. I felt properly evaluated and clearly informed about my diagnosis and treatment plan. Based on the care I received, I would definitely return.
The only issue I experienced was with the prescription process. This office was unable to send my prescription directly to the VA pharmacy, which caused a delay. Because I was very sick, this was challenging, and I went without medication for a couple of days. I also attempted to fill it at CVS, but it was not covered by the VA.
Overall, the care was very good, but VA patients may want to confirm prescription transfer options in advance.”

I have utilized the services at Piedmont Urgent Care on Ponce many times over the past several years. The staff has always been hospitable, respectful, knowledgeable, and happy to help me recover from the various outcomes that result from my continuous interactions with Life. So far Life is up. But I digress, the main reason for choosing Piedmont Urgent Care on Pounce over other Urgent Cares is their X-ray capabilities. To my knowledge most UC facilities do not have this option. My recent visit required a X-ray. Being able to be immediately X-rayed and a more informed diagnosis was proof positive that Piedmont Urgent Care on Ponce was the correct choice.
