During his residency, he completed a research fellowship at the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of Columbia University in the laboratory of Dr. Robert Cowles. He performed research on short bowel syndrome and complex intestinal reconstruction with intestinal lengthening. Dr. Oh then went on to complete a 2 year clinical fellowship in pediatric surgery at the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of Columbia University. He is an active member of many prestigious medical and surgical societies, including the American College of Surgeons, the American Pediatric Surgical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the International Pediatric Endosurgery Group. He is also currently a reviewer for the Journal of Pediatric Surgery Case Reports. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts.
