Hey there, I'm Piran.
I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, and I provide psychiatric medication management.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
We will use evidence based screening tools as well as a complete past medical and psychiatric history to evaluate your current mental health strengths and weaknesses. Medication may not be necessary, but if it is, I'll be happy to go over the safest and most effective options appropriate for you.

I didn’t make it because a family emergency and my Dad being at the hospital with multiple organ failure. This doctor could have charged me for the last minute no show because I know his time is valuable but instead he understood and didn’t charge me or penalize me. I will book with him again I am in severe need of PCP care myself but caring for my father has come above myself especially more recently with scares of these next days being our last with my Dad.

I came to Piran with immense anxiety after a prescription from a PCP worsened my symptoms. He was so helpful and from someone who has anxiously struggled the past 2 weeks with being on the phone for more than 5 minutes, I realized afterwards we had spoken on our video call for a full hour. Piran was extremely knowledgeable and welcomed all of my questions. I left feeling supported with a prescription that actually fits my needs right now, and he gave great recommendations for longer term care that I’ll be looking into further. Will definitely be coming back!
