What should a new client know about working with you?

I bet you're wondering why you should choose this provider over hundreds of others. I believe what sets me apart is the excellent client experience I provide. - I'm easily accessible, if you have questions or need refills I'm literally just a HIPAA compliant text away. Say good bye to having to log into separate patient portals and talking to 3rd parties to get messages to reach your provider. - Refills are sent in a timely manner. Most people receive their refills on the same day of their request and at least on the very next business day. - I maintain a very low clientele... intentionally. This allows me to show up as my best self. So you get the most of your experience. A burnt out provider is no good to anyone. You deserve to have your providers FULL attention. - I offer elongated follow ups. No more feeling like cattle with 10-15 minute appointments. You can expect to have 30-45 minute follow ups. However if you're busy, stable on meds and prefer shorter appointments that is available to you as well. - I opened this practice on the premise of wanting to offer accessible quality care to the busy woman. No more feeling dismissed, disregarded and powerless in your appointments. I will educate you on all of your options, taking your concerns, goals and objectives into consideration and we will come up with a plan together . Feel empowered again with a provider who truly listens to you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our initial visit will consist of a 90 minute evaluation. I'll review your intake paperwork, screening tools and gather important information like family history, past medical history and your social history. So grab a cup of coffee and be ready to tell me what's going on. This is a very conversational appointment with the only goal of better understanding you, and your symptoms/triggers. Don't forget to relax and breathe I'm here to help you get to a better you. Follow up appointments are virtual and for 30-45 minutes. Many clients see me on their lunch breaks or before work. The virtual appointments offer unmatched flexibility to minimize disruptions to your day. I do offer brief psychotherapy integrated into your medication management appointments as needed. This may look like helping you identify negative patterns, cognitive distortions and maladaptive coping mechanisms. I also help brain storm on certain organizational techniques and ways to "cope ahead" to set you up for success in your day to day life.
