What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is designed to be supportive, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Initial Evaluation Our first visit is a comprehensive psychiatric assessment where we discuss your concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, current stressors, lifestyle, and treatment goals. This helps me gain a clear understanding of what you are experiencing and how best to support you. Personalized Treatment Plan After the evaluation, we work together to create a treatment plan that fits your needs. This may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, coping strategies, lifestyle recommendations, and referrals for additional therapy or resources when appropriate. Medication Management & Education If medication is part of your treatment, I will carefully explain the options, expected benefits, possible side effects, and what to expect. I believe in shared decision-making, so your preferences and comfort are always an important part of the process. Ongoing Follow-Up Visits Follow-up visits focus on monitoring your progress, assessing how you are feeling, reviewing symptoms, and making any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan. These visits also provide space to discuss challenges, celebrate progress, and strengthen coping skills. Supportive, Judgment-Free Care Throughout our work together, my goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and respectful environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered in your mental health journey.
