What should a new client know about working with you?

I understand that it can be intimidating to see a new provider. That's why I make sure to take the time to get to know each of my patients and clients. I prioritize listening to their needs and concerns, so that I can provide the best care possible. It's important to me that my patients and clients feel comfortable and heard, and I strive to make that possible in each and every visit.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Step by step, each patient or client is accessed accordingly to identify potential concerns and or needs with regard to their mental health. A typical session with our providers typically begins with a discussion of your current mental health and any medical history that is relevant to your diagnosis. We may also discuss any current stressors or lifestyle changes that may be influencing your mental health. Next, we'll discuss the symptoms that you are experiencing, and any other pertinent information. Thereafter, I will likely use various diagnostic tools and assessments to help determine the best course of treatment. Depending on the diagnosis, I may recommend a combination of talk therapy and/or medication. Talk therapy sessions may involve exploring underlying issues, practicing healthy coping skills, and learning new strategies to better manage your mental health. Every session is tailored to the individual's needs and goals, and I will always take the time to answer any questions that you may have about your care.
