Getting to know Priscilla Ndulue

I believe in caring for the whole person—mind, emotions, history, identity, and life circumstances. I provide compassionate, individualized psychiatric care for adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, mood disorders, and related mental health concerns. My approach is warm, respectful, and collaborative. I take time to understand each person’s unique experiences and goals and work together with my patients to develop a treatment plan that fits their individual needs. When appropriate, I incorporate medication management, education, supportive care, and referrals to additional services. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their mental health journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a warm, respectful, and judgment-free approach. During your first visit, we’ll take time to understand what you’re experiencing, your mental health history, current concerns, and your goals for treatment. I believe treatment works best when we work together. I’ll listen to your concerns, answer your questions, explain treatment options clearly, and develop an individualized plan based on your needs and preferences. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel heard and understood. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, mood concerns, or other mental health challenges, my goal is to provide a safe space where you can be open and comfortable discussing what you’re going through.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During the initial visit, I take time to understand your current concerns, symptoms, mental health history, medical history, medications, and personal circumstances. I use this information to develop a comprehensive understanding of your needs and, when appropriate, establish a diagnosis. We then discuss treatment options together, which may include medication management, supportive counseling, lifestyle recommendations, and referrals for psychotherapy or other services when appropriate. I explain the purpose, benefits, and potential side effects of medications so you can make informed decisions about your care. Follow-up visits focus on how you are doing, your response to treatment, any side effects or concerns, and whether adjustments to your treatment plan are needed. My goal is to provide individualized, collaborative care that supports your mental health and overall well-being.
