About Priscilla Yeon
Priscilla Yeon, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant who specializes in general medical dermatology with a passion for facial aesthetics. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and chemistry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She continued on to earn her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the accelerated program at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University. With prior training in facial plastic surgery as well as medical and cosmetic dermatology, Priscilla is continuing her education further as a Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), a rigorous program specifically geared for dermatology physician assistants. Priscilla who practiced in facial plastic surgery and otolaryngology, specializes in surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She offers services using lasers for hair removal and pigment removal, hydrafacials, neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, and non-invasive body sculpting. Her life time love for Korean skincare has propelled her to stay current with the trending top of the line skin care products that she incorporates into her regimes. She works closely with Dr. Maragh to coordinate premium and personalized care for all her patients. Terrible experience. Drove all the way to the practice for the approved appointment and was met by no one at front desk until sometime later I went to the front desk and was told there was a glitch in the system and my insurance wasn’t approved. I was then told to call their Fairfax office and no luck there either. Poor overall would not recommend.

I booked an apppintment with Priscilla, but was seen by Annie.
She had a terrible attitude and very clearly did not care about my concerns.
She did not take the time to ask genuine questions and was prescribing medication within the first 5 mins.

The whole process of scheduling an appointment was very easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Most of all, Dr. Yeon is very attentive and thorough. I was disappointed with my recent appointment. I waited for about 50 mins, and the visit itself lasted only a few mins without any scalp examination or proper analysis. I was expecting a more thorough consultation rather than just product recommendations. If I had known the appointment would be like this, I would never have scheduled it, and I certainly don’t plan to return.

Dr. Yeon rushed through the whole appointment after I waited an hour to see her. She didn’t ask any questions about my skin history when I told her I have problems with acne. She immediately prescribed a medicated cream for it, which I had to jump through several hoops to get. She told me at the end of the appointment to call the office if the pharmacy gives me trouble as if she already knew it wouldn’t turn out smoothly. I felt like Dr. Yeon was not there to listen to my concerns as a patient and she was not helpful in prescribing me a random cream that is difficult to obtain with my insurance. Another thing to note is they took several photos of me for my patient profile and I think they sent some to labs for the acne, but it happened so fast, I wasn’t sure. I didn’t know a full exam/check up/prescription could happen in under 5 minutes.

Pros:
1. Quick check in and out.
2. The nurse prior to the doctor was awesome- super kind, thorough with note taking, and explained everything they were doing well.
Cons:
1. Dr. Yeon seemed rushed throughout the entire appointment, even though I was in and out of the office in about 25 minutes (including checking in as a new patient).
2. It felt like even though she was given my notes, she hadn't read them. If she did, she didn't care to ask for amplifying information and came to her own conclusions without any of my perspective. For example, I had brought up a previously diagnosed condition that she assumed to be something else and then brushed me off when I tried to clarify.
3. Dr. Yeon didn't seem to care about whether or not I was part of the conversation about my health or not, she just gave me meds and a new regimen and sent me on my way.
Bottom line, I wouldn't recommend seeing Dr. Yeon if you, like me, are hoping for a back and forth conversation about your skin's health.

As a new patient, I would not recommend this office. The person at the front desk was very unfriendly and barely acknowledged me when I walked in. The PA (Priscilla) herself came into the room without introducing herself or the woman that came in behind her. She rushed through the “full body scan” brushing off any concern I brought up and then offered to do a biopsy of an ingrown hair. The entire visit felt rushed and like if I wasn’t going to buy anything from them then I didn’t matter. The only pleasant person in this office was the nurse’s assistant who took down all my notes and concerns. She explained what the full body scan should’ve been and made sure I was comfortable. I say “should’ve” because I was told a full body scan included checking my scalp, which Priscilla did not. She was in and out of the room faster than it took to undress. I guess I can say there isn’t a long wait since I was in and out of the building in 20mins, including paperwork…
