What is your typical process for working with clients?
We start with a comprehensive first visit, where you and your provider will discuss your goals, medical history, and what brings you to treatment. From there, you’ll work with your provider to create a care plan that feels right for you, which may include medication, therapy, or both. If your provider recommends medication, they’ll walk you through your options—our goal is always to help you make informed choices about your care. You’ll meet with your provider regularly for follow-up visits to check in, adjust your care as needed, and make sure you feel supported in your journey.

Because we accept insurance, we can reduce out-of-pocket expenses and still offer high-quality care. You may not have any cost related to your visit with us, depending upon your insurance plan. Most patients pay a small copay per visit, subject to any deductible or coinsurance that your health plan has. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services determines appropriate billing guidelines. These guidelines depend on the length of the visit and the complexity and severity of your diagnosis. For this reason, we need to wait until after the visit for the final determination. We then submit the claim to your insurance company. The charges are calculated based upon pre-negotiated prices with your insurance company. Your insurance company will then determine what amount, if any, is your responsibility per your insurance plan.

The doctor was very thorough with her evaluation. Had great “bedside manner.” She confirmed self evaluation of disease and was upfront stating my current condition was beyond her capacity and recommended alternative treatment including referrals to local treatment and confirmed that my path of treatment was correct. I would certainly recommend her to others seeking counseling.

Dr. Priya was incredible! I enjoyed her checking in and asking for my pronouns to begin our session - it made me feel safe and seen right from the beginning. She was super responsive to all of my concerns and questions and was very welcoming to someone new to the process of seeking psychiatry. I would highly recommend talking with her - she was also very realistic about finding a psychiatrist that was the best fit for your circumstances, and I'm excited to work with her further.
