About Dr. Qiao Guo
Dr. Guo is a warm, compassionate, and dedicated pain management specialist who believes that every patient is unique in his or her own way. His interests in pain medicine include joint disorders, interventional spine procedures, neuromodulation therapy, platelet rich plasma therapy,and among others. He uses only the most effective and up-to-date techniques, such as ultrasound-guided injections, fluoroscopy-guided injections, and spinal cord stimulator implantation.
Originally from Maryland, Dr. Guo attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed his Anesthesiology residency at Stony Brook Medical Center. During his residency, Dr. Guo developed strong interest in the field of pain medicine and subsequently completed his fellowship training in pain medicine at Weill Cornell Tri-Institutional Pain Medicine. There, he worked with leaders in the field of pain medicine at three world-renowned hospitals: New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Guo speaks English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, and Fujianese. When he is not working, he enjoys playing tennis and golf, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Doctor Qiao Dong Guo is very polite, knowledgeable and he really cares about his patients and he does listen to you, not unlike most doctors. Of course I would recommend him to my relatives and friends. He was able to diagnose my fibromyalgia, based on the information I gave him. I can't wait to feel better.
