Hello everyone. My name is Tina Wu, and I am a doctorally prepared psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and psychotherapist. I received both my master’s and doctorate degrees from New York University (NYU). What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is evidence-based, holistic, and person-centered, with an emphasis on shared decision-making. I believe in partnering with clients to create treatment plans that feel right for them. I speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and I have extensive experience supporting the needs of Asian-American communities. I see clients across the lifespan.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe each client has their own strengths and is the expert in their own mental health. I strive to create an open, nonjudgmental, and safe environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences and goals. My role is to meet clients where they are and help them move toward lasting wellness.
