About Dr. Raafat (Ray) Shabti
Dr. Shabti is a Board Certified Internist with extensive experience in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Hospital Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine and completed residencies in Internal Medicine at both the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Saint John's Episcopal Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Shabti holds a Master's in Public Health from the University of North Carolina. He has been serving the Northern Virginia community since 2009. Dr. Shabti enjoys managing complex medical issues and coordinating care for patients with multiple medical problems and providers. He is an excellent listener who believes that good communication between doctor and patient is the foundation for optimal care and outcomes. As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center, he also enjoys teaching Georgetown medical students in his office. Our staff is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, striving to make every visit productive, healing, and pleasant.
