“So far so good. Much better than my previous psychiatrists. The office is a luxury experience, which some people may find very enjoyable. They don’t take insurance, but the cost works out to be about the same out-of-pocket cost anyway since insurance companies are running a racket.”

What should a new client know about working with you?

At OASIS Mind & Body, we believe in, acknowledge, and support your dedication to mental and physical wellbeing. We created a luxury medical facility offering an array of services to help you feel and be the best version of yourself. Our offices are designed to provide you a place that you will enjoy coming to - not just another appointment. Here, you, our patient, are at the core of our care and treatment. We will work with you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and preferences. We want to involve you in all the decision-making regarding your treatment options, whether it involves therapy, medication, or a combination of both. I strive to build a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship with every patient to make you feel comfortable discussing your thoughts, feelings, and concerns openly during each session. Another crucial part of treatment is psychoeducation, including in-depth understanding of diagnosis, evidence based medication management, dosing, side effects, interactions, and alternatives. I hope to empower you with knowledge and understanding to enable you to make informed decisions about your mental health, as well as take an active role in their treatment journey. It's important to know that you are supported. We will accommodate same day appointments if able to in the event of a mental health crisis and are available via phone should questions or concerns arise between sessions. Telehealth options are available after an initial in-person intake appointment. Ultimately, what I strive to establish is a strong therapeutic alliance with each patient characterized by trust, empathy, collaboration, and individualized care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I take a whole person approach to patient care, recognizing that mental health is influenced by various factors including life events, stressors, relationships, and family dynamics. By addressing these aspects in the initial one-hour session, I aim to gain a deeper understanding of each patients' needs and tailor the treatment approach accordingly. Each patient is unique, and I understand the importance of customizing my approach to meet each specific need and goal. By starting with an individualized session and discussing various aspects of my patient's life, I create a personalized treatment plan that addresses their psychiatric symptoms through therapy and, if necessary, medication management. I believe in involving my patients in the decision-making process regarding their treatment plan. By maintaining open communication and discussing options with them, I hope to empower them to take an active role in their own mental health journey. Following the initial session, I provide ongoing follow-up and support to ensure that my patients are progressing towards their goals. This includes regular check-ins, consistent medication response monitoring, and accountability to help them stay on track with their treatment plan. I prioritize open communication with my patients throughout the treatment process. This helps build trust and ensures that any concerns or changes in their condition are addressed promptly. Above all, I approach patient care with compassion and empathy. I strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where patients feel heard, understood, and valued.
