About Dr. Rachael Jean-Claude
Dr. Rachael Jean-Claude specializes in family medicine. She was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. Dr. Jean-Claude earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. She continued her medical education by completing her residency in family medicine at the University of South Florida-Morton Plant Mease.
During her training, she was recognized for her distinguished work in women's health by receiving the First Year Resident Obstetrics Award. In addition, she received the Resident Award for Scholarship for her outstanding research on point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS). Dr. Jean-Claude enjoys providing comprehensive care for acute and chronic diseases; however, she has a particular interest in women's health, patient wellness, and underserved populations. It is her desire to improve access to care and provide high-quality health education to all patients. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, long-distance running, cooking, and traveling.
She is certified in basic life support, advanced wilderness life support, and advanced cardiovascular life support and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.

I scheduled my appointment online when I was finally able to find one available for this doctor. A few days later, I received a voicemail from the office canceling my appointment as the doctor was not available at that time and I would have to call back to reschedule. I received several confirmation text messages of my upcoming appointment so it was confusing when I kept receiving them including the day before and the day of. When I arrived, they did not have my appointment and then asked me to reschedule. Again, it was very challenging trying to find availability so I didn’t end up rescheduling. I called today regarding a prescription needed for a specialist and it turns out they dropped me as a patient and I would need to come in as a new patient. No availability for the next month so I now have to delay the procedure. It would be nice to find a PC Dr that has availability to actually see patients.

Dr. Jean-Claude sits down and listens to your concerns. She had already reviewed my chart regarding my recent hospital stay so I didn't have to repeat every detail. I will not be visiting this doctor again. If you are looking for someone to check the box for a physical needed for insurance or something of that sort she will do that. However, if you are going to a doctor to address an issue and looking for someone to take the time, ask the right questions, listen to your concerns and put a care plan in place she is NOT the doctor for you. I came extremely prepared to my visit and felt that I was inconveniencing her and was sent off with a quickness.

Hi, Im submitting this review for my mom. My mom isnt tech savvy and she’s not one to check reviews when going places. Not my case though! I booked her appointment with Dr. Rachael based on the good reviews and I’m so glad I did. My mom hasn’t stopped talking about how cared she felt by Dr. Rachael and everyone there. We went to the practice yesterday but I wasn’t able to go back with her due to the COVID protocol, at first I was irritated. The nurse insured they had a good translator that would help my mom in communication. When she came back to the waiting room to meet me she seemed relieved. She later told me the translator was excellent and how the doctor and nurse were very compassionate. She felt like they really cared for her and were interested in finding a cure for her. She has even expressed how she wants to make her our family doctor. She’s very grateful and believes she can be trusted. Today, without mentioning it to her, she hands me her phone, asking me to write an honest review (That’s a first!) I believe that speaks volume.
