She went on to complete a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies and Medical Sciences at Nova Southeastern University in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2018. After completing her education, she moved to Casper, Wyoming, where she began practicing as a cardiology physician assistant before relocating back to Colorado. She currently works at the SCL Health Heart and Vascular Institute. Rachael has always had a passion for health sciences. “I take pride in doing work well. I am enthusiastic about partnering with patients to achieve wellness and reach their health goals. I constantly challenge myself to be a forever learner in this ever-changing field.” As a PA in cardiology, Rachael enjoys collaborating with her colleagues to develop the optimum plan for each patient at every stage of health. She is passionate about adhering to an evidence-based approach while remaining cognizant of the need to treat patients as individuals. When she is not at work, Rachael enjoys practicing yoga, cooking for her family, and hanging out with her golden retriever, Darrell.
