Rachel is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She earned a Baccalaureate degree (BSN) in Nursing from Chamberlain University, Addison, IL. She then obtained her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health Advanced Practice Nursing with a focus on adolescents, adults, and families. Her extensive training and experience working with mental health disorders in various settings enable her to provide clients with holistic, comprehensive, and compassionate care. With over 15 years of clinical nursing experience, Rachel is passionate about delivering quality care to adolescents aged 13 and above through older adults. She possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by a natural ability to build rapport with clients and families. We encourage our clients to feel comfortable and trust the process—we want to be part of your journey. Rachel considers herself well-versed in the treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, sleep disorders, OCD, and PTSD through psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapeutic intervention for adult and adolescent clients. She incorporates specialized holistic mindfulness and creates comprehensive, individualized care plans tailored to each client. Rachel highly encourages and promotes lifestyle modifications such as healthy living, balanced diets, meditation, yoga, breathing exercises, and recommends psychotherapy.

- We DO NOT accept Medicaid or Medicare Insurance.
- NO MEDICAID/MEDICARE.
- No insurance, No problem! We accept self pay option for Psych
evaluations , follow up visit & medication managements.
- We do not evaluate clients seeking Disability paperwork for short term or longterm disability.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Our psychiatric evaluation process begins with an hour-long initial appointment during which our Mental Health Provider will gain detailed information about a person's symptoms, behaviors, medical history, substance use, and mental health history, including any previous diagnoses. Our team will inquire as to how these factors may be impacting the patient's day-to-day life, school or work performance, and relationships. Lab tests, including blood work, may be ordered to determine if any underlying issues could be contributing to or mimicking mental health disorder symptoms. Once the comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is complete, Our provider will render a diagnosis and determine whether individual counseling, behavioral intervention, medications, or other modalities are recommended for treatment.
