Founded by Rachel—dual-licensed Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, PMHNP-BC)—Sanique was created to offer a more integrated, human-centered alternative to conventional medical and psychiatric care.
Rachel brings over 15 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and more than 30 years working across diverse areas of medicine. Her clinical background spans emergency medicine, family medicine, addiction medicine, and pediatric care, providing her with a uniquely comprehensive perspective on health and healing. She has extensive experience working with individuals affected by substance use disorders and remains current with emerging, evidence-based treatments, including ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, delivered with strong clinical oversight, safety protocols, and ethical care standards.
At Sanique Therapies, we honor the whole person by providing evidence-based, client-guided care that recognizes the deep interconnection between emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Our approach includes comprehensive, detail-rich consultations; intentional guidance to support each individual’s healing journey; and medication management when clinically indicated. Through this thoughtful integration, we craft personalized treatment plans that foster clarity, resilience, and sustainable well-being.

I had an amazing experience with Rachel. She is so helpful and personalized the experience. I did the ketamine treatment and it helped tremendously with my anxiety and depression. She was available after for assisted therapy and communicates very well. She did a great job describing what to expect. Her office was comfortable and welcoming. I will absolutely be going back. I highly recommend going to her for the ketamine treatment.
