About Rachel Rankin
Rachel Rankin, MSN, APRN, FNP is a board certified nurse practitioner who has been specializing in dermatology and serving diverse patient populations for over 5 years with an emphasis on surgical dermatology. She was trained in central California partnering with dermatologists, MOHS surgeons, and PAs with a focus in skin cancer detection and removal and formed an integral part of the treatment team. Upon completion of her dermatological fellowship and masters degree Rachel moved to New York City to be close to her young nephews and niece as they grew up. She began practicing in offices around manhattan and the outer boroughs, skillfully treating skin types I-VI with knowledgeable, compassionate and meticulous care. She completed a surgical training course to enhance her cosmetic outcomes and opened a specialized surgical clinic in her Bronx office to excise skin cancers, cysts, lipomas and other skin lesions. Over the years Rachel has gained skill and knowledge in cosmetics including neurotoxin, dermal fillers, microneedling, chemical peels, PRP, and laser treatments. She believes in treating the whole patient and formulating a treatment plan that is specifically tailored to an individuals treatment goals and needs. She uses her extensive experience and wide range of expertise to identify and treat the root of the problem and prioritizes listening to her patients and making them feel seen, heard and cared for. In her free time Rachel enjoys surfing and hiking.
