About Rachel Shane
Rachel is a board-certified Physician Assistant with experience in obstetrics, gynecology and primary care. She received her masters degree in physician assistant studies from Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. Rachel is trained to provide acute and preventative gynecologic care. This includes well women exams, contraceptive counseling, STD screening and treatment, lactation education, pelvic pain, irregular periods, vaginal infections and breast concerns. Rachel strives to ensure that each of her patients feels heard and respected and enjoys building relationships with her patients. The check-in process at the office as easy / standard, and I had minimal waiting time before I was called in (before my appointment time!). The experience with Dr. Shane was great as she took the time to listen to my concerns, conduct the exam, and provide reassurance and clarifying details throughout.

Rachel is absolutely wonderful! She makes every visit feel comfortable and easy, like talking with a friend. Her bedside manner is amazing and she always takes the time to explain things clearly and with patience. I feel so at ease with her. She is my preferred person for anything gyno related.
