About Rachel Straus
Rachel Straus is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Rachel received her graduate degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro College School of Health Sciences, where she graduated with honors. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Queens College. During her clinical rotations at Touro, she trained with Dr. Joshua Fox at Advanced Dermatology, PC. in our Roslyn Heights office.
While completing a rigorous training program alongside Dr. Fox and the Advanced Dermatology team, Rachel gained firsthand experience treating a wide range of dermatological conditions and is excited to bring her knowledge and skill set together in order to deliver high-quality patient care.
Rachel has extensive training in treating various skin conditions and is fully certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Life Support. When she isn’t working, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and furthering her education in the medical field.

Went in for an annual skin check, and was seen quickly and efficiently. The office was clean and quiet, easily reached on public transportation. I like the provider, as this is my 3rd year seeing her for this annual exam. Enough that I was willing to ride a bus for 30 minutes when she switched offices from one that was a short walk from my home.

It is pleasure visiting this practice. I have always managed to get an appointment within a reasonable time-frame. I have never had to wait weeks to be seen. The support staff is friendly and polite, efficient and professional. Upon arriving at the office, I am seen immediately.
