Life introduces a number of challenges and stressors that can be short-lived or persistent. Using a collaborative approach informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), my aim is to help clients manage distress through increased understanding and acceptance, refining methods of coping, and developing a more authentic engagement with the world around them. I specialize in treatment for individuals living with psychosis, anxiety, and changes in mood and behavior. I am particularly interested in helping teens and young adults experiencing these challenges for the first time. I have a genuine interest in the unique experience of each individual and work to understand how hardships and joys are experienced by those I am fortunate to help. A proponent of the recovery model, I strive to cultivate healing, hope, and empowerment. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Louisville, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to support my clients effectively.
