Getting to know Rachel Yun

*** ADHD evaluations are conducted IN PERSON. Follow-up visits for medication refills are also required IN PERSON every 3 months at: 220 5th Ave, 11th Fl, New York, NY 10001 You can continue to book your initial telehealth appointment via Zocdoc, and we’ll coordinate your in-person visit from there. ----- I’m a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner offering an integrative, human-centered approach to mental health. My work is grounded in both clinical expertise and a deep respect for the inner life—the emotional and existential layers that make us who we are. I specialize in the treatment of young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, life transitions, and identity development. I blend conventional psychiatric treatments—such as medication and psychotherapy—with natural supplements, mindfulness practices, body awareness, and profound conversations about meaning, purpose, and belonging. This holistic approach fosters healing by addressing the root causes of distress rather than merely alleviating symptoms.

Not your typical run of the mill. Rachel cares, and has a very pleasant and inviting calm energy that creates a good vibe. Great listener and was very helpful! Would definitely recommend!
When we have our meeting, not only she is very professional, but also very caring about my emtional state. She has nothing but a good intentions of my well being mentally. I would more than referred and recommend her for any person needing help.
I had three visits with this provider over nearly two months, and all sessions went well. Communication was clear and professional until the final interaction. A prescription plan that had been discussed and confirmed was changed without further discussion, and when I raised this concern, the prescribing relationship was abruptly ended. The lack of consistency and the sudden termination of care after otherwise positive visits was disappointing and stressful.

Rachel is very easy to talk to and has a warm, grounded approach. It realpy never felt rushed or scripted and I appreciated how she brought in mindfulness in a way that actually fit me and felt practical and not forced or clinical. Overall, it felt personal and tailored, and I felt comfortable and heard, which I haven't felt with other counseling.
