I had the same pcp for many years but she moved out of state and I needed new one. I didn’t think I’d be able to find one that I liked as much as the one I’d seen for over a decade but I feel like I lucked out finding Raquel. I didn’t not feel the least bit rushed through the appointment so she could quickly move along to see other patients and I really appreciated that. I was there for an annual wellness exam and I was pleased by how thorough she was. She was very friendly, personable, and non-judgmental. It felt like she empathized when i explained how financial hardship had complicated my efforts to take care of my health and remain compliant with recommendations, treatment plans and follow up appointments with other providers over the last year and how I was trying to get things back on track. I was really grateful for this and pleased that I feel like I’ve found a provider I hope to be able to stick with as long as I’m living in this area.

My regular gynaecologist is no longer at my practice so I was looking for a new one. Due to starting a new job I don't have much time for extra appointments so I was trying to get this done. I was pleased I could make an appointment quickly but was displeased that no one notified me that you need a physical before a pap smear if you are a new patient. I went all the way to the office for my scheduled appointment and was filling out the paperwork. I was taken back to the room and discussed what I needed (when I scheduled the appointment I did include what I needed)...I asked if I could do both since I was already there but I was told no. There was no reason I couldn't have been informed of this prior. I can't comment on her because I didn't get to meet her but this was frustrating and inconvenient.

Provider doesn't do obgyn visits, even though that's what is advertised on the app. I found out after I was checked in and sitting in an exam room. A tech told me and sent me home without being seen.

I absolutely loved Raquel—believe the reviews about her. Her bedside manner is wonderful: kind, empathetic, non-judgmental. She was very proactive about addressing my concerns, took me seriously (which doesn’t always happen with medical staff—I’ve been to providers at much fancier offices who’ve been highly dismissive), and I’m feeling confident about her approach to my health. There was a nurse assisting her who was quite cold or brusque, but Raquel was so great that I’ll enjoy having her as my regular PCP.

When I looked on Zocdoc it stated that their location offered everything that I needed, as far as pain management, medication management & physical therapy so I proceeded with scheduling an appointment, once I made it to my appointment they did not inform the doctor of everything I requested for my reason of being there, and was then informed that they didn’t offer the services that I requested prior to scheduling my appointment & the doctor was clearly disappointed in the way there staff misinformed me & showed empathy & compassion & was able to temporarily help me thank GOD & also apologized over & over on behalf of her staff even though she shouldn’t have especially for her staff’s lack of professionalism. But the Doctor deserves a 5?? rating for sure????

Wonderful experience. Racquel was tremendous, concerned, and kind. One of the better 1st visit experiences I've had.
I did not feel rushed through even though I was one of the last patients at the start of a Holliday weekend.
