Do you struggle to feel in control of your life? Many disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and OCD can make it feel as if your mental health difficulties are controlling you. Together we can work to find healthy means of control that allow you to create a life that works for you. Through an eclectic approach, we will identify strategies and interventions that are specialized to your unique needs to find the right intervention to help you achieve your goals. My practice is focused on a straightforward but empathetic strategy, with a healthy dose of sarcasm and humor. This approach allows clients to feel seen and heard while providing space for growth and change. We can empower you to work towards increasing your autonomy and help you feel confident in enacting lasting change in your life. While I have a wide variety of experience, my recent work is mainly with OCD, mood disorders, anxiety, sexual difficulties, and the effects of trauma. I have a profound respect for individuals that have survived the unthinkable and desire to regain control of their lives. I offer a safe space to identify your needs and difficulties and help create a plan to make meaningful changes using an interactive approach. I have specialized knowledge in working with the LGBTQIA2S+ community as well as the kink community. I have specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for individuals with OCD. I am also trained in Habit Reversal Training (HRT) to address body-focused repetitive behaviors (trichotillomania and skin picking) and tic disorders. When not working, I spend most of my time reading and playing video games. I volunteer at a cat shelter and also like hiking, rock climbing, and playing strategy board games.
