Dr. Alturkmani earned his medical degree from Damascus University School of Medicine in Damascus, Syria. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine and also in interventional pulmonology from the University of Florida.
Dr. Alturkmani is board certified in internal medicine. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology, American Medical Association and American College of Physicians. He is fluent in English and Arabic, serving the community of Austell, GA.

Dr. Alturkmani is a wonderful doctor...I am so pleased with everything he has recommended for me. I highly recommend that you choose him as your pulmonary care doctor. You won't be disappointed! All of the staff and nurses were very nice, pleasant and helpful also. The waiting area is very spacious and comfortable and clean.
