I am passionate about providing mental care to patients across their lifespans. I foster a safe environment and an easygoing communication style, making it easy for patients to express themselves. I try to approach care holistically and educate patients before resorting to medication. I believe patients are an expert on their health and the goal is to work together with the patient to navigate the mental health difficulties in their lives. I have experience treating psychiatric illnesses such as depression, anxiety, and insomnia. I have special interests in trauma, women’s mental health, substance use, and addiction medicine. My approach to mental health involves various therapy modalities, medication management, or both. I am a dual board-certified Psychiatric and Family nurse practitioner. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Lamar University and completed my graduate training at Liberty University and Chamberlain University. I have gained experience providing mental health services and general family care in a primary care setting.
