Getting to know Dr. Raheela Sultan

*Dr. Raheela Sultan treats patients ages 5-21. I am a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist with experience in managing symptoms of ADHD, mood, anxiety, trauma, and personality disorders. I employ a holistic approach in treatment, recognizing that medication management of psychiatric illness makes up just a small part of a person’s journey towards recovery. I encourage optimizing sleep, nutrition, and exercise and actively collaborate with psychotherapists, school counselors, PCPs, and other specialists to ensure successful communication between all involved parties. All clients are treated with dignity, respect, compassion, and empathy, and a measured and comprehensive approach is taken during the intake process to fully understand their perspectives and personal goals. I completed my training in general psychiatry residency as well as fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at University of Maryland Medical Center/Sheppard Pratt Health System in Baltimore, Maryland. I obtained my M.D. at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. I grew up in Glen Mills, PA and am honored to continue serving the needs of my community.
