I am a licensed psychologist with over 10 years of clinical experience providing counseling and psychotherapy to diverse clients. My practice provides confidential, strength-based, and highly personalized psychotherapy for a wide variety of presenting problems including anxiety, depression, trauma, family and relationship issues. I help people alleviate themselves from challenges that interfere with their well-being and daily lives. Treatment typically results in relief from psychological distress, improved mood and self-esteem, and positive changes in my clients’ relationships and work performance.
I am a generalist with expertise in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, trauma survivors, and people with international backgrounds. I use an affirming/ poly-friendly approach with clients in non-monogamous or polyamorous relationships. I provide counseling and support for women dealing with infertility, pregnancy loss, and adjustment to motherhood.
I have spent most of my career in university counseling centers and I am particularly aware of the needs of students and young professionals. I have extensive experience working with the concerns unique to lawyers and law students.
My approach is warm, dynamic, and collaborative. We will work together to come up with a treatment plan that best fits your needs and presenting concerns.

Dr. Margo is--and I cannot emphasize this enough--an excellent therapist. She is calm, incisive, and engaged, and she creates a therapy space that is extremely welcoming and comfortable. Her ability to recall details from sessions that took place months ago keeps therapy moving at a comfortably swift pace and makes you feel like she really cares about what you're saying. After working with her for about a year and a half, I progressed from a place of deep emotional crisis to one of stability and happiness. I recommend her wholeheartedly.

I enjoyed working with Dr. Margo. I am generally not a therapy fan, but grew to look forward to our sessions. She consistently listened, helped guide me through issues, and was supportive. I found her flexibility in terms of approach useful. I only have positive things to say about Dr. Margo's therapy practice.
